Michael Fawcett, Co-CEO for Resolute is also EVP for Aequitas Capital Management, has over 30 years of experience as a businessman, professional investor and lawyer engaged in corporate finance, mergers and acquisition and corporate restructuring. He has been a principal in a number of business ventures, including venture capital, private equity investments and LBOs in a variety of areas including soft drink bottling, medical equipment and disposables, office and communications equipment, consulting, healthcare, life sciences, business process outsourcing and financial services.
Mr. Fawcett's business background includes a Managing Director role at the private equity firm, Washington and Congress Capital Partners and its predecessor firm (collectively "W&C") where he was also a member of the Management Committee, Investment Committee and Finance Committee. W&C managed approximately $1.6 billion in committed capital. Prior to joining W&C, Mr. Fawcett was a founder and managing partner of Dorman & Fawcett, an advisory and boutique investment banking firm specializing in challenged companies and distressed debt. In addition, he was a managing partner of Sullivan & Worcester in Boston and New York and a Partner of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo in Boston specializing in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.
Mr. Fawcett has served on multiple boards including: Resolute Solutions, Health Dialog, Meacham Woodfield, LLC, Surgical Outcome Support, Inc., Haemonetics, The Westwood Group, First National Bank (Ipswich), Addressograph Farrington and BAESA. Mr. Fawcett holds a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh Law School and an AB degree from Hamilton College.
Hedy Foreman, Co-CEO and EVP and CIO for Aequitas Capital Management, has extensive IT leadership and senior management experience in healthcare, consumer products, consulting and other industries improving performance and financial accountability. Ms. Foreman has held CIO and CTO roles leading IT transformation, new product development, technology, operations management and security for several distinguished domestic and international companies.
Prior to joining Aequitas, Ms. Foreman was the Senior Vice President & CIO of Health Dialog Inc., a private company with revenues in excess of $200 million. She was responsible for IT and new market development, reporting to the CEO and COO. There she introduced a new application technology strategy and deployed advanced application services products for numerous large healthcare enterprises.
Ms. Foreman has held leadership roles, including: Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Altria Group where she led and oversaw Altria's worldwide technology operations. Companies include Philip Morris International, Kraft Foods and Miller Brewing as well as all other Altria companies; Bristol-Myers Squibb Company; and Buck Consultants among others. Ms. Foreman holds an MBA from University of Virginia, Darden School of Business and a BSBA with honors from the University of Florida.
Sr. Vice President of Learning and Training Solutions and Chief Learning Officer, Dr. Laura L. Livingston, implements Resolute’s internal learning strategy, creating a learning infrastructure to optimize Resolute’s formal and informal learning and accelerate employee growth. As head of Resolute Learning, Livingston is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic and tactical direction for the learning services business. She provides leadership for a widely-dispersed virtual team, driving revenue for the business division—building operational efficiencies, and establishing and managing strategic learning partnerships for Resolute.
Lauren Schwartz leads Resolute’s business development activities in the East Region as well as managing the strategy for the healthcare and professional services verticals. She has over 20 years experience in user experience design and strategy, technology management, and business development. Prior to Resolute, she worked for Microsoft for over 10 years in design management and client management roles. Lauren started her career at Digital Equipment Corporation. She holds a degree in Product Design and a minor in Computer Science from the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Chris McFaul, Vice President and General Manager of Learning and Training Solutions manages the outsource, virtual team that produces curriculum design, delivery services, and operations for one of Resolute Learning’s primary customers - the Microsoft Academy, a global training effort for the worldwide Microsoft field personnel and partners. Ms. McFaul comes from 30 years in technology and management experience spanning industries from publishing and telephony to software development. She spent 8 years as a Microsoft Consulting Services, Enterprise Strategy Senior Consultant, working primarily with large professional organizations such as Ernst & Young, Accenture, and Avanade. She earned a BS degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University, graduating Magna cum Laude and completed a Masters program in Educational Psychology at the University of Washington.
Lugene Nicholson leads Resolute’s finance department as well as overseeing administrative functions within the organization. She has over 20 years experience in both the finance and operations at a corporate level. Prior to Resolute she worked for Codesic Consulting as the Controller for 8 ½ years. Lugene has a Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting.
