COMPANY EXECUTIVES
Former president and CEO of Forum Systems, Swenson launched the first SOA/Web Services Security Company in June 2002. Since then, he helped them raise over $40 million in venture capital funds and secure some of high-tech's largest customers. Previously, he was CFO of Phobos Corporation, a Utah based Technology Company that was acquired by SonicWall of Sunnyvale, California (SNWL) in December 2000. Swenson also spent a decade at Novell in various operational roles, ultimately managing worldwide sales and marketing. Swenson has also served the Managing Member of Blackrock Ventures, an early-stage business consulting company, and is currently a Venture Partner with Canopy Ventures. He has been in executive level positions at companies such as WordPerfect, SoftCopy, Cosmebrite, and NV Philips, and has served as an Advisor, and Director to many Boards. Swenson was an E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist in 2006, and was named one of the Top 40 CEO’s under 40 in 2004. He has been featured on CNBC, and has contributed to several IT Industry panels and boards. Wes is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Utah Tech Council, and co-chair of the Utah Emerging CXO Forum.
Frank Artale has been on the Resolute Board of Directors since January 2005. Frank is currently at XenSource Corporation and previously worked at Accel Partners, where he was most recently a member of the venture development team and worked as an advisor to such companies as Mendocino Software and Centrify Software. Prior to Accel, Artale was a founder and CEO of Consera Software, a management software company, which was acquired by HP in 2004. Before founding Consera, Artale was vice president of the Windows Solutions Group for VERITAS Software, where he oversaw overall product strategy of the Windows targeted solutions. Prior to this position, he was a general manager in the Windows 2000 group at Microsoft Corporation, one of the many and varied product management and sales positions he held during his nine-year career with the company.
Andy MacRitchie is Executive Vice President of Aequitas Capital Management which he joined after 20 years in general and executive management roles. He brings considerable experience in strategy, regulation and large company operations with a focus on M&A. His most recent previous role was as Executive Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of PacifiCorp, a $10 billion electric utility operating in six western states. MacRitchie holds an honors degree in electronics and electrical engineering and an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School in Scotland. He also completed an Executive Development Program at Wharton Business School in 1996 and is a member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and is a Chartered Engineer in the U.K.
